چکیده
The aim of this study was to examine the minerals content (toxic elements, macro-elements and trace elements) Basilicata region (southern Italy) honeys compare mineral profile classified as rural, industrial urban according anthropic characteristics geographical origin. Overall, Ca, Na, Mg, Fe, Al, Zn Mn were most abundant elements detected in honeys, with average contents exceeding 1 ppm, whereas heavy metals lower than maximum limit established for honey. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences (P < 0.05) among function origin, exception Se, Co Ag content. Industrial characterised by highest Zn, Cr, Sn, Cd Pb content, showed As, Ni, Mn, Mg Ca rural Cu, Al Ba 0.05). findings highlighted that is closely related different environment, which affected anthropogenic activities.

A Bacillus anthracis strain was isolated from a burial-site in Pollino National Park where a bovine died of anthrax and was buried in 2004. We report the first genome sequence of B. anthracis isolated in the Basilicata region (southern Italy), which is the highest risk area of anthrax infection in Italy.

Geoelectrical fluctuations are the end product of several geophysical phenomena. In particular geoelectrical signals measured in seismically active areas can be attributed to stress and strain changes, associated with earthquakes. The complexity of this problem has suggested the development of advanced statistical methods to investigate the heterogeneous nature of these fluctuations. In this pa...
